Upcycled Rice Water is obtained from rice husks that are discarded from the crops of Tarragona and Valencia in Spain. These husks are then macerated to obtain rice water, which is very rich in minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants. The result? A super-hydrated, soft, and beautiful mane – fabulous hair.

Can you imagine life without rice?
Neither can we! Rice is one of the world's most important nutrient sources. Everything is used except the outer husk... or, so it was until we arrived and realized the potential that this inedible husk had for the hair! Among the benefits it has for hair are the many minerals it contains, in addition to vitamins and antioxidants. At GSKIN, we use discarded rice husks from the crops of Tarragona and Valencia, in Spain. These are macerated with water to get our amazing rice water which we then add to our formulas – just like that, a wonder for the hair!

This is the creation process
A SECOND LIFE
We recover rice husks from the crops of Tarragona and Valencia, in Spain, to give them a second life.
EXTRACTION
Macerate the rice husks with water and then wash, filter, and extract them. This allows us to obtain Upcycled Rice Water with all the active ingredients that are beneficial for hair and skin.
FORMULATION
We design, create, and produce ultra-moisturizing Upcycled Rice Water in our lab, a formula specially designed for all hair types.
PACKAGING
We package our formula in sustainable I'm green™ bio-based plastic packaging obtained from sugarcane, thereby perfectly closing the circle of beauty.
