I'm Green™ bio-based PLASTIC

I'm green™ bio-based is the very special green plastic we use at GSKIN.

We use I'm Green™ bio-based plastic in shampoo bottles and hair mask jars. And in the first production, around 500 kg of I'm green™ bio-based plastic was used.

  2. Magic Transformation: Sugarcane enters the production line. The first stage is to crush it to get its juice, which is used to make sugar. Sweet, right?

  3. Zero Waste: But we don't stop there. The remaining fibers go through more processes to obtain bioethanol from the leftover juices.

  4. Birth of I'm green™ bio-based: From bioethanol, processes similar to those of conventional plastic are used. Et voila! I'm green™ bio-based plastic is sourced for GSKIN. It's like green magic.

  5. Self-supply (Renewable Energy): And guess what? The remaining sugarcane fiber provides energy for the factory.

  6. Virtuous Cycle: Even ash generated during the process becomes fertilizer for sugarcane fields. Nothing, absolutely nothing is wasted.

SUGAR CANE PAPER

Did you know that we’ve also found an upcycled paper?

All our GSKIN boxes have a very sweet origin, from sugarcane! After extracting the sugar, they're left with the "magic" fiber, a byproduct of the process called ‘bagasse' ...Then the party starts! These fibers are cleaned, mixed with water to create pulp, and transformed into paper. Then they're printed, cut, and assembled into fabulous boxes for you. Magic, right?

  4. The Magic of Rollers: The pulp is passed through giant rollers and wound into coils.

  5. That paper is cut into different sizes, the designs are printed and it's put into the fabulous GSKIN boxes. Yes, it's real magic!

Infinite Recycling: Glass does not have a useful life: it’s infinitely recyclable. This means it can be melted down again and again to create new objects without losing quality. Less material extraction and more energy savings.

Zero Waste: Every bit of glass, even the extra glass from production, gets a second chance and is reincorporated into our packaging. We close the cycle; nothing gets thrown away.
